Batman: Arkham City Harley Quin’s Revenge Pack Story Trailer

Finally, Batman: Arkham City gets some worthy DLC in Harley Quin’s Revenge. If you’re wondering why Harley Quin wants revenge against Batman look no further to the Joker. The trailer shows Batman falling into Quin’s trap while trying to rescue a trapped cop. Next we Robin jump onto the scene with his acrobatic fighting style and weaponry. Personally I am stoked to play as Robin.

I managed to see a few new takedowns for Batman and Robin during the video.  Batman Arkham City was one of the best games to release last year let alone the best Batman game to ever be created so this DLC is welcomed. Batman: Arkham City Harley Quin’s Revenge DLC drops May 29 for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Battlefield 3 – Rent a Server: Console Video

Here is a good video via Gamerspawn showing the features when renting a server for Battlefield 3 on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. I actually went through and checked out the servers after the update a few days ago. You can check out pricing and info from the main title screen of Battlefield 3. Battlefield 3 now offers whats been available for the PC BF players for years. Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 gamers can know rent multiplayer servers and create their own Battlefield 3 experience. What this means is you can purchase a set package of days or months off XBL and PSN and have your own custom server to mess around on. This is perfect for guys who like making stunt or lulz type vids.

Its also for serious players who want to game with a certain clan, crowd or group. You can make special friend’s VIPs so they don’t have to wait in line for your server providing you added them. All in all this is, or was a PC type deal that console gamers can now enjoy. The video shows the player turning off the HUD and retweaking spawn times. If your a Battlefield 3 player who likes creating new and unique gameplay elements you should probably rent your own server and have fun. I have played on a few custom servers (PS3) and everyone one of them have been pretty good and diverse in gameplay. Thanks for reading.

Forza Horizon – Announcement Trailer

Forza Horizon is a spin-off of Turn 10′s Forza Motorsport series that is exclusive on the Xbox 360. As far as the trailer goes your not getting much in terms of in-game material. However what I did get from the trailer was a obvious party atmosphere featuring high exotic cars. I’m hoping the gameplay is open world maybe like Test Drive Unlimited or something. Its obvious this game will not be a driving sim which is what Forza has built its reputation on.

Speaking of Forza 4 check out my review of Forza 4 Review. Back on topic. Personally i am pretty hyped regarding Forza Horizon. Why? Simply because its going to be a different take on a great franchise. More gaming options the better i always say. There is no release date set yet however the trailer says Fall 2012 so its coming this year. I’m sure this coming E3 will show us some gameplay. Thanks GamerSpawn.

Max Payne 3 – Mini 30 Rifle Trailer

Here is the new trailer for Max Payne 3 featuring the Mini-30 rifle. The video below shows Max Payne taking out groups of thugs using the Mini 30 rifle’s scope with lethal accuracy. The Mini 30 has a 20 round capacity and 100 meters range. The rifle also appears to have melee benefits. I’ll tell you what, the Mini 30 looks like a solid rifle that i’ll make good use of when i buy Max Payne 3. On a side note i’m pretty hyped for Max Payne 3. If you played the older two games you would know why.

I played both Max Payne and Max Payne 2 on my Xbox years back. Max Payne has a great noir presentation. The gameplay, story, sound and visuals were also really solid in those games. If Max Payne 3 is anything like the old bulletime games we as gamers are in for a real treat. Max Payne 3 is a action game published by Rockstar Games and developed by Rockstar Studios. Gotham City Impostors – DLC Trailer

Gotham City Impostors gets some free new DLC as shown in the trailer below. The 25th Hour is a new map that towers over Gotham City. New themed costume sets for the Batmans and Jokers titled Office, Ninja, Luchador and more. New weapons will also be added such as the King Maker pistol,  The Falcon Blade ninja sword.

There are also new support items like Toxic Gas and a new Fun Fact “Nimble Fingers”. Gotham City Impostors is a lighthearted first person multiplayer game that puts players in the role of everyday people who act out there comicbook fantasies. The Witcher 2: Assassins of kings (Enhanced Edition) – Xbox 360 Trailer

Here is a cinematic trailer for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (Enhanced Edition) showcasing Geralt and the Kingslayer in beautifully rendered cutscenes on the Xbox 360. The Enhanced Edition comes with three discs, two booklets and a map. If there is special unique content on the discs then they are worth something. The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (Enhanced Edition) is a role-playing game developed by CD Projekt Red Studio and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Borderlands 2 – Doomsday Trailer

I am no longer worried about Borderlands 2 after watching the Doomsday trailer below. We finally get to meet the four new players in Salvador, Maya, Axton and Zero. Zero in particular intrigues me since he looks like a cyborg ninja and could possibly be a new class. 4 player co-op, more guns, new rides that can fit all four players finally looks like solid additions to Borderlands 2. Play split-screen and claptraps are back. I notice many action set-pieces involving flying machs and huge monsters in the trailer.

The artstyle looks even better than the first game. I notice alote more snow in Borderlands 2 from the trailer. Handsome Jack is the new bad-guy tyrant bent on destroying Pandora. The Borderlands Premiere Club is a Pre-Order Bonus from select retailers. It includes a Golden Key, Vault Hunter’s Relic and Gearbox Gunpack. Borderlands 2 was developed by Gearbox Software and published by 2K Games for the PC, Playstation3 and Xbox 360. The game drops on September 18, 2012. Thanks Gamespot.

Far Cry 3 – Gameplay Video

How can you not be impressed with this new Far Cry 3 gameplay footage? The video below shows shootouts, driving and interacting with some of the game’s NPC’s. You also have alote of action set pieces in Far Cry 3 that i didn’t expect to see. The jungle setting looks gorgeous. The character models looks really detailed. You can see how yellow that one guy’s teeth are in the video.

Then again, all Far Cry game’s look great. I love sandbox first-person shooters and this one should deliver the goods. I like the cover system and sliding mechanism. I have many questions about the game’s story but those will have to wait. Far Cry 3 – Stranded Trailer

Who’s hyped for Far Cry 3?  I admit i am. After beating Far Cry 2 a few years ago and seeing the direction Far Cry 3 will be taking i’m pretty psyched for number three. The open world jungle exploring first-person shooter is back along with Far Cry’s stellar visuals. The trailer below is a documentary style cutscene showing the opening moments of Far Cry 3′s protagonist and his two friends.

If you seen the E3 2011 video you will immediately recognize the psychopath in the trailer. He begs the protagonist’s friend to shoot him. At which time the the psycho kills his friend and the protagonist escapes only to be stranded. Far Cry 3 is developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Its release date is TBA. Thanks Gamerspwn.

Sleeping Dogs – Cinematic Announcement Trailer

Sleeping Dogs is the new name thats been given to True Crime: Hong Kong.  Sleeping Dog puts you in the shoes of  undercover cop Wei Shen. Wei Shen will have his hands full as he infiltrates one of the biggest Chinese Triad Gangs in Hong Kong. The open world nature of Sleeping Dogs and the fact it takes place in Hong Kong has my interest piqued. As far as the trailer goes it reminded me of some of Chow Yun Fat’s gun-ballet movies he did back in the “80′s”.

There is no gameplay in the trailer below which blows but the live-action trailer gave me a good visual as to what kind of missions you will be pulling off for the Triad. The entire notion of being an undercover cop also adds that hardboiled vibe to the game.
