Total War:Shogun 2

Total War:Shogun 2 – Fall of the Samurai Trailer

With a eerily similar beginning to Last of the Samurai, Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai is a complete stand alone expansion of Shogun 2. You see an American soldier from Pittsburgh arriving via boat to Japan in 1865. The soldier is in Japan to train their military in the western ways of how to use guns to shoot people. Its obviously during the end of the Samurai’s influence of Japan. The trailer shows factories polluting the sky, western machine guns and locomotives which is clearly western influence at work.

The trailer further goes into Japan’s resentment against the Shogun ala the ninja scene. If you pre-order you can receive one of three exclusive faction packs. As far as i’m concerned it looks good. I actually have Total War: Shogun 2 sitting in my Steam library but have yet to play it. Total War Shogun 2: Fall of the Samurai is a strategy game developed and published by SEGA for the PC. It releases March 23, 2012. Thanks Gamespot.
