Sleeping Dogs – Cinematic Announcement Trailer
Sleeping Dogs is the new name thats been given to True Crime: Hong Kong. Sleeping Dog puts you in the shoes of undercover cop Wei Shen. Wei Shen will have his hands full as he infiltrates one of the biggest Chinese Triad Gangs in Hong Kong. The open world nature of Sleeping Dogs and the fact it takes place in Hong Kong has my interest piqued. As far as the trailer goes it reminded me of some of Chow Yun Fat’s gun-ballet movies he did back in the “80′s”.
There is no gameplay in the trailer below which blows but the live-action trailer gave me a good visual as to what kind of missions you will be pulling off for the Triad. The entire notion of being an undercover cop also adds that hardboiled vibe to the game. Sleeping Dogs is developed by United Front Games and published by Square Enix for the PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. It releases querter 4 of 2012. Thanks sleepingdogsgame.
