Resident Evil 6 – Debut trailer

And here it is gamers Resident Evil 6. I have alote of questions after watching this trailer. It appears its a single player campaign (YES!!) centered around the old favorite Leon S Kennedy and the protagonist from the last game Chris Redfield. Each character looks to have there hands full on different sides of the world. The trailer starts off with Leon who looks like he is about to shoot a zombiefied version of the President. The woman who at this point is a mystery to me ends up shooting the President and not Leon. Who is that mystery lady? She goes on and on about how she “did this” after shooting the President.

And where is Tall Oaks? Tall Oaks will obviously be a gameplay location in Resident Evil 6. After Leon’s scene ends your then shown Chris exiting a military chopper with a group of soldiers. Good news gamers Chris Redfieild doesn’t look like The Incredible Hulk’s twin this time. I’m not sure but Chris’s scene takes place in either China or Japan not sure. Lastly we see a new character. The mystery man is with Ashley (President’s daughter from Resi 4). There is a scene of the both of them running from a Tyrant and Ashley having to resuscitate a mystery man. The new guy’s blood might be the key to stopping the virus.

The cover system looks to be a big mechanic in gameplay. I saw a monster pick up Leon or whoever from behind cover. I saw a turret based rail sequence. The combat seemed streamlined and much quicker than Resident Evil 5. I noticed alote of Vanquish style sliding on the ground while shooting from the hip. Graphics were very impressive. Lots of action obviously. Looks really impressive. Resident Evil 6 is a action adventure game developed and published by Capcom. It releases November 20, 2012 (trailer below).
